Reverse light HELP

I was wondering if anyone knows where the reverse light sensor is. It used to come on then i had to jiggle the shifter to get it to come on and now it doesnt come on at all i was wondering when the sensor is so i can fix it but i cant find it.

does ne one have a general idea where it would be like actually in the trasmission which would make it hard to fix or in the linkage which would make it alot easier to fix.
