I saw someone selling their 2005 Sti springs with 10K miles on them for $100, first off....is that a good deal? Second is it worth putting these on my stock struts on my BE (do they fit?) or would I be better off getting a whole setup at the same time?

Thats not bad, but not a great deal either. Personally I would save the extra money, get a nice set of aftermarket springs, and either way upgrade the struts while it is all apart.

They won't fit in the rear.

I would get a full replacement set of suspension - the whole shebang - then you can swap them out in one go, without messing around all day.

Yea, that's kind of what I was thinking anyway, I just saw the oppertunity and didn't know. And scottzg, is it the rears or the fronts? after I posted this up i did some research and the perch mounts are too wide on the fronts but you can get 2000+ impreza ones that work....the rears don't fit either?

BE uses a narrow strut/spring setup, almost like a coilover, in the rear for the rear multilink suspension.

All imprezas use Macpherson struts all around.

I see, well looks like i'll be saving my money for a good setup then. Thanks for all the advice folks.
