View Full Version : A/C discharge hose clogged? Here is the way you fix it.

Take the cap to a spraypaint can and drill a hole in the top the size of the hose sticking out of the firewall. Use a shop-vac set for water vacuuming. Crawl under the car and stick the hose thru the hole, attach the shop-vac hose to the other side (hollow) and fire it up. You will notice the hose shake like crazy as it pulls all the crap out of the hose and all the water trapped behind your dash.

You A/C will work better and your car won't stink due to all the water backing up into your vehicle.

Nice writeup...I may try this also, as my A/C doesn't seem to be working all that great...

Depending on the year. But if im not mistaken, it should be on the passenger side somewhere.

And BG sells a cleaning kit for the ac system now.
