Subaru body parts aren't a dime a dozen like Honda parts. Welcome to our world, you earn all your mods. Search and find brother. Theres also a section called um "Subaru Links" thats a good place to start, then from there ask some questions.

Dude, really, stop taking your gramma's car on joyrides and stick to what you know: masturbating to "the fast and the furious" and riding the short bus to school.

Well said, even if you had to include me in the diss. I couldn't agree more.

"PLEASE! HELP ME FIND A BODYKIT FOR MY LEGACY I'M DESPERATE!!"

Hahahah!!111

If this wank ever returns, I've got $5 that it's a stock Legacy Sedan with an AutoTragic.

Scott, he's not from LCO.. this is a different guy, although both are a bit on the stodgy side...
This PL owns/has(<-- Probably more HAS and less OWN) a Legacy Wagon, stock. He tried to say some booshit about a wrx swap, but since reading isn't his forte, I have a feeling it'll be a long time coming with no blessing or check... ...let alone boost.

:edit: and now im off to go put more stickers on my ride....hehehehe. life is no fun if you cant make fun of yourself. we are all stupid and sometimes people think otherwise, but its true.

As Reason said, welcome to our world... No one of us got what they have on a silver platten, man! Search it up, try to fit whatever you come up with (as long as it's not Honda part... ); hell, even dare and make something yourself!!! Going to a store, leaving your car there with a fistfull of cash and returning to pick up shit which SOMEONE ELSE did to what USED TO BE YOUR CAR is the easiest thing! Where I come from (hehehe...Croatia...never mind) it just DOESN'T COUNT.

YOUR effort, YOUR time, YOUR enthusiasm and YOUR will to make something out of it is what counts. We're all willing to give support an answer as many questions as we can, but, man, change your attitude! For your own sake... Really, tuning Subaru just in order to race Hondas?!? You know, you don't have to beat them in race; the fact that you drive Subaru, and they drive Hondas is victorious enough by itself...

Disturbed_beast

Dude what up with hondas your in love with them or some "if your not the problem your part of it" ever hear that before, Yes so what hondas have everything so do must other imports, ive seen Skylines better looking then hondas, And i don't think all of us want to race a honda, we are just out to make a Scoobies look and driver great like other importer

ProjectLegacy

you know i didnt ask for a smart ass comment and im done i bought sumthin that will work for now , and i want to include that i wil never buy, drive or say "that honda looks sweet" ok.. and im not a ricer i just like a loud good lookin car thats not a honda. my legacy is a 97 legacy wagon with no damn power options i cant afford it....

Wiscon_Mark
10-13-2005, 10:39 PM
if you can't afford power options, then why are you going for bodykits? for the price of full sideskirts, and bumpers, you can probably rebuild your EJ22/EJ25 to a much more powerful spec NA.

galek_98gt
10-13-2005, 10:49 PM
and im not a ricer

to buy a body kit just for looks is the essence of being a ricer so yes, you are a ricer. whether you asked for smart assed comments or not you're gonna get them because you're showing yourself to be an ignorant tard. many of the folks who have made comments in this thread know a lot about what they are talking about and you should take in what they say.

Disturbed_beast
10-16-2005, 03:11 AM
you must me joking i paid $5,000 for WRX engine, and etc, but i can find Legacy kits for under $3,000 and if i wanted to buy one for that much i would make my own, you can get body kits for allsubaru i think you just need to speical order them rallitek too, for like $1,200 to $1,500, Taka Kaira is a little expensive

Well, at least Disturbed made this thread somewhat useful. Maybe Gator could clean this up and add it to Tokio's database? I don't think the flaming part of the thread is very useful :?

my database, as is my outlook on subarus, applies to just the bd/bg chassis.

i didnt see anything not already covered in it anyway...but the link to the $600 STI kit was awesome! its about time primitive catered to the bd/bg boys.

oh yeah, I suppose. But I don't think DB's hard work should be lost. Can We have a mod, or an Admin split this topic and make a new sticky for the pertinent info? :D

are subarus considered ricers since there japanese, or is that just a honda thing? don't get me wrong i'm just curious what is actually meant by ricer

ricer would be adding on items that offer no functional increase in performance or safety. usually hondas are owned by teenagers because they are do cheap and right away the only thing on a teenagers mind is making it look fast and furious.

i don't consider jdm projector headlights rice due to they offer much better lighting over the usdm.

but don't get me wrong you can easily step over to the ricer side with a subaru if all you intend to do is buy body kits with no useful intention other than to make it look boss.

See, that's how a bodykit should be done. Its not screaming, its smooth, and subtle, and it looks great!

Paint that wagon! :D

Oh, are those BE/BH rims?

Rice is an untasteful modification of a car (usually, and most easily noticed is the visual aspect of rice), however, rice can include chopped springs, cherry bomb mufflers, different tint/graphics. Rice is taking a car, and making it look, perform, or sound ridiculous and possibly reduce its over all visual, performance or sound quality over stock. Thats how I see it.

So 5 ft spoilers? Rice, except on a Porsche GT car, which requires such a tall wing. Super loud exhaust? Rice, except on a car with supporting performance mods to match the tone. (just saw a video of an s2000 on streetfire which was uber loud, like f1 car loud, and it was slow. slower than a stock wrx, so that'd be rice too, despite its impressive list of supporting mods). Here's another ricerific mod. People who wire out their headlights so they can drive just with their foglights on. And anything that sticks to the car, but looks like carbon fiber. Anyhoo, I digress. But I hope these examples help.

A subie can be rice, and there are some out there, but they are quickly shunned out of these websites I've found.
