I might as well introduce myself.

I'm scott, i have a 90 L awd manual sedan with 105k. I've had it for 4 years.
http://www.thawa.net/gallery/albums/album100/dead_sexy.sized.jpg

It has 2.5 rs suspension, gt rims, group N topmounts, a nice stereo, nice tires, a 18mm rear swaybar, a smattering of polyurethane bushings (including steering rack bushings that i highly reccomend), a HD clutch, an agressive alignment, and some other random stuff.

I'm here because tristan encouraged me to join.

Welcome Scott, I love your Legacy. I would love to get a first gen to my collection. It's nice to see more first gen owners here.

a little info on myself:

I'm in my 4th year of college as a geology student.

I've been working around cars now for about six years, albeit non professionally. My first two cars (a bmw and a van) were pretty horrible, both required fairly invasive surgery to keep them on the road.

I have been running in autocross for 2 years now, the legacy is a top third finisher in ST. I bought a starion with a 16g and a blown head gasket to run as a dedicated fun car. Of course i had about 40 hours work in it (the previous owner tried to jump it with crossed terminals, i found out) before i found out it would be in SM and completely non-competitive...

I support my income working on cars. For example, today i finished replacing a vr6 head gasket (which reaffirmed my distaste for vw) and i will be putting an ej25 in a bf legacy this weekend.

I have a basic mistrust of aftermarket engine bolt ons.
