The car is not running as of yet. I am waiting on a stainless turbo line. I should be able to start it tomorrow. I will keep this post updated, thanks for looking!

Got the intercooler plumbing installed today, just have to make a pipe from the turbo elbow to the MAF sensor. Was quite a pain, probably would have been better just to use the old EJ22T turbo instead of my WRX one. Should be driving soon!

Very nice. Not a common swap you see performed. Way to be different!

Thanks! What I find crazy is that I am using an engine from a different generation of the car, a whole bunch of aftermarket parts from a completely different generation/model of Subaru and they all fit(with the exception of the engine cross member). My downpipe has an exhaust mount that lines up with the old exhaust mounts. Plus, the old exhaust would actually bolt up(not that I would use it). I just find that so weird that Subaru didn’t change their design from 1991 all the way up to today. Plus, from what I understand all the suspension will all swap around as well. You should have seen the look on the guys face at the parts store, "I need a water pump from a 91 legacy turbo, an alternator belt for a 95 legacy, and plug wires for a 99 impreza"(did the coil pack swap in the DIY section). Pretty crazy, I come from the world of Nissan, and there are hardly any "bolt on" swap between different generations and certainly not different models of vehicles. I guess domestic vehicles kinda did this back int the day(Chevy 350), but cerainly not in modern vehicles. Im not saying that an EJ22T or any other swap is "bolt on" but there is not major fabrication or modifications that really need to be performed. The hardest part was getting the damn exhaust manifold to clear the radiator mount(see pics, it was close) and of course the electronics portion. Anyway, just my thoughts on Subaru and the swap. Thanks for looking!

Yeah, my buddy Matt keeps telling me: "Legos my friend, legos...".
As you're finding out, WRX parts & turbo swap on to the EJ22T block w/o a problem. You can put a WRX 5sp tranny (MUCH stronger than your stock) with that motor, but you'd just need the rear diff and axles to make it all work. Have fun!

And the rear suspension, and the driveshaft, and a new gas tank... but that is the plan, what good is a Subaru without AWD?

I wouldn't say that my friend. My friend has a few borrowed parts from other Nissan's.

Nice, where did you get the Emanage from?

Got a used one on Ebay for cheap(like $180 shipped). It only came with the unit. I got a used one cuz I plan on upgrading to an emanage ultimate and I bought the complete harness for the ultimate so if I get one I just need to hook up the additional wires and plug it in.

How much $ was the TMIC, and were there any issues getting it to fit?

Cost - about $25 + about $50 in silicone connectors(from turbo outlet to IC and IC to TB). Only problem I had was the cruise control actuator was in the way and I made a bracket to move it over.

I got the intake completed today and I started my car, no CEL's but im also not getting any boost. Revved all the way to 5k and not even close to any boost. Anybody got any ideas? I checked the wastegate and it shuts. So I will check to make sure the headers are tight tomorrow and check for a serious boost leak.
