and felt some improvement but there is clearly room for more improvement and the next obvious step is engine mounts since I already have an sti trans mount.
The sti trans mount and pitch stop combo is noisy compared to the stock mounts. You definitely hear more driveline sounds and engine noise. Before the addition of the pitch stop all I could really hear was 'gear' sound (trans mount) - nothing to intrusive but there. With the pitch stop any engine sound is more direct, especially lifter sounds on a cold engine.
That said, driving impressions are good so far, shifts are firmer and the clutch is more responsive since there is less slack for the driveline to catch up. There is no additonal vibration or harshness, actually it feels less harsh and easier to drive smoothly.
I think I want to perhaps get an aftermarket muffler to get some boxer growl so I hear something pleasant over the driveline!
