Better get that warranteed. You might have nuked your headgaskets too. Make sure you check your coolant for oil, and check your oil for coolant.

im not sure whats going on with it ...it is warranteed and i sent it back to the dealer and he checked everything and fixed it, he changed the oil and fixed the thermostat.
it worked fine today and i took it up to the dealer cause the check engine light was on and he turned it off and said that it was a sensor near the timers and he put more engine coolant in and some subaru stuff with it and ever since i drove it out of the dealer its been heating up again.

Don't keep driving it. Take it back to the dealership. There's a 99% chance headgaskets are blown.

no he told me that they leaked it...thats the first thing they did...i did stop driving it and took it up today...what happened was that there was air in the system and he flushed it all out...
my nok sensor is bad and i have to get that replaced sometime after monday

There could be air in there because of the gaskets letting the eingine suck it in.
+1 for headgaskets.

there was air in it...he took the cap off of the radiator and disconnected the hose from the radiator
he poured coolant in the radiator til it came out of where the hose connects and put coolant in the hose til it was practically full and quickly put it back on
then he took the bleeder cap off and poured coolant in that way and thru the cap and pumped old coolant out of the resivour and its running fine

Good luck man, hope it was something simple!
(+2 for headgaskets, unfotunately.)

thanks...whats with the +1 and +2?
 you wwouldn't last long on Nasioc
Anyways... +1 is short for "O me too" or "I agree"
So one person said possible bad headgaskets... +1 and +2 means that now 3 people think its possible bad headgaskets...

silver, nice color. Had anymore overheating issues?

it did heat up quite a bit when i got to school but it didnt happen again...most likely air again...im sure that will happen a couple more times over the next month til its all thru the lines
also somethings rubbing on the driverside rear wheelish area but it only does that when i go up hills and it stops when im not accelerating...its a high pitched noise-any thoughts?

Wheel bearings maybe. Could also be a partially-siezed caliper.
Unfortunately, if it is still air in the cooling system, it may never be able to work it's way out.
A friend of mine did a great write-up on how to 'do the coolant' correctly, just follow this handy link: http://cnysubarus.com/smf/index.php?topic=14.0

The cooling system is a sealed system. It needs to be "burped".
Best way to do that is to take the coolant reservoir cap off, and run the car. Squeeze the top coolant hose leading to the rad (the hot side - use gloves if necessary) until the bubbles stop rising in the coolant reservoir. replace cap.

he did "burp" it cept he had the resivour cap and the radiator cap off until bubbles stopped and thanx for the site ill look at it after work

ok if everything goes as planned...sometime in the future, if i still have this car...i think a new engine will be put in and a switch from an automatic to a stick shift...either that or just take everything off and put it all on another 98gt stick
im getting photoshop hopefully soon so ill figure it out and show yous what i want it to look like

If it is a high pitch "whine" then I would change the rear diff fluid and make sure you top itoff properly ;) Best do the front one too, while your changing diff fluids ;)
If it is a rubbing low frequency, then maybe verify there are no rub marks inside the wheel well.. possible subframe movement could make a tire rub
If its a "grinding of metal" grrr sound like dave said probably a wheel bearing, or a CV, though the rears generally are pretty hard to kill...
Hope this helps!
And please dont just forget about the noise, it will come back and bite you in the ass eventually...

yes...high pitched whine only does it when im accelerating

I'd go with a wheel bearing in the rear as well.
Getting back to your coolant temp issues, keep in mind, bad head gasket(s) on your motor will let compression(air) into the coolant system, so if you had the coolant system "burped" already and you are still having problems, very very good chance it's head gaskets. The problem will never go away, it will just slowly continue to get worse, unfortunately. Only fix is new headgaskets.
Good luck!

that was his first idea he did a leak down and the headgaskets are not the problem i just took it up and he looked at it quick...he thinks its a blocked radiator
he took the top off and felt inbetween the radiators and one side is hot and the rest is ice cold...hes putting a new radiator in tomarro while im at school
its buggin him tho we tried everything...fixed the thermostat which was broken leak down like 3 bottles of engine coolant went in plus some water so my car could make it up there
hopefully its the radiator the tube going from the radiator to the engine was pinched in like 3 places like suction so idk
its up there now so it should be good i hope lol
