One company is still sells the carbon fiber hoods for the BD/BG Legacys for around $700 plus shipping. They're the same mold as the ones done in the group buy a while back on NASIOC. I can't recall what the exact price and everything is, as I don't have the site here at work. I'll look when I get home and see if I can't get you the link.

Here is a thread to a post on Nasoic. I think you want to talk with Jack at Ion Performance. They were one our vendors before the site went down so I would guess they still are. Suppose to be really good to do business with.

Someone told me that Ion Performance went out of business, but I haven't seen proof and I don't think it's true. Anyways, the company I was talking about is PDM Racing (www.pdm-racing.com (http://www.pdm-racing.com)).

No they are still very much in business. There was a potential of a group buy on NASIOC...they were talking $875 shipped to my door...price could drop if at least 10 peeps were interested...shipping costs wouldn't change, and I'm not sure what the breakdown was.

But Jack is a great person to deal with. Great customer service...and I haven't even dropped a dime yet!

Anyway, P, I was unaware that PDM sold them too. interesting.....

....just bought springs from them. They're good people to work with as well.

I was under the impression that CFx was in the UK, so I hadn't really thought about buying from them d/t shipping. Everyone else I'm finding is in Canada. Anyone know what the customs charges are going to be on a hood??

If your really interested in a CF hood kinda like mine:

and a CF Trunk i did post a group buy on CF trucks a while back but it seemed that there was no one interseted in them since i need at least ten people to do the GB and only had about 3 at most for close to 4months because they need to be costom made the and are about $2,000 to be made for a single costomer, the mod is about $1,500 and the CF trunk is about $500, but if there is a GB the price is about $600 per person now there is a place where you can pick up a CF hood and that is where i had mine made: http://www.carbonfibrefx.com/products.htm this has a incorporated scoop or http://www.pdm-racing.com/products/bodykits.html
there both around $625

I got my hood from carbon fibre FX and i spoke the the guy that owns the place and he can make up 1994-98 OEM Legacy CF trunks for about $500 if it's a group buy but it's not it cost abot $2,000 for "one" to be made

I might be interested later on down the road in a few months, need to save up money etc. Also how is the quality on them. This would be a huge step for my leggy since it's an L w/out a scoop so i'd be down for it in a few months like i said, also depending on the shipped pricing.

My Carbon Fibre Hood is perfectly like the OEM hood has all the cross members under the hood rolled corners which you want keeps the hood from flexing very durible
