View Full Version : A great DIY center diff lock switch write up

I found this while looking for the way to wire up a center "diff lock" switch. This obviously gives the vehicle an advantage in low traction conditions when the TCM thinks that 90/10 torque split is an awesome idea.

This explains "dummy loads" well (which is something I didn't understand) and clearly explains the proper method to make everything work. I'll be doing this mod shortly after I get the new motor in. For an off road Outback such as mine, this will prove valuable.

sounds complicated but i would be interested on how it turns out this would be pretty bomb on a 00-04 auto GT with sport shift and the rear LSD
