i was wondering if i could wire in an amp to the harness for the sub

yes but i want to run a aftermarket sub and amp with out changing the deck

its a good question there might be a way. im a noob with wiring and stereo, but i dont think the wiring will be able to hold the juice of an after market amp+sub, unless you can upgrade the wiring and stuff but i dont know what im talking about

no i agree im thinking the same thing i like my stock deck and i love how the auto antenna is still working

well your antenna should still work if your in fm/am mode. then i will retract when your using another mode

ya, it should i dont have an aftermarket deck with my current leggy. but in my BC i had one and it work just fine

Most amps now have speaker-level input. You can keep your stock head unit and hook it straight up to the aftermarket amp. It's done all the time on newer cars thar have proprietary head units.
