Hey guys, this is kind of a rant post I guess. I have noticed just about every forum I touch slowly becomes an exclusive community, and flames random people for no reason, especially new people. SLi has been my refuge on the internet, even ECB has gotten bad recently, albeit a lot of people have deserved it lately. It's a tough day when i don't feel like checking the new posts on my home clubs forum, because of all the stupid crap thats on it lately. I don't have a problem giving someone crap if theyve been around a while and are being a douche, but a new guy who noone knows shouldnt be flamed before anyone even knows him just because his intro post sounded kind of cocky. I thought it was significant, and that I should let you guys know, that I am no longer an ecb guy who posts on SL-i, but an SL-i guy who posts on ecb. I wanted to say thanks SL-i, and everyone who is a part of it; as well as to remind everyone why we are our own site, and not just the legacy forum on nabisco. We have a great community here, let's keep it that way!

Yay for SL-i and our happy community :smt041
Glad you're with us, Sheepdog :D
If we get the kind of people who start that crap, they will, guaranteed, reform themselves, or be banned :)

I saw the thread about SLi on NASIOC and was reluctant to click it...
I was genuinly surprised to not get flamed when I showed up. ^_^
Speaking of NASIOC, there's been a LOT of flaming there as well. :(

Arguing on the internet is retarded - no-one ever listens because people think their individual opinions count. They don't. The only thing that counts is experience. And proof.
SL-i is much better now (I think) without the needless "hazing" that went on a couple of months back when I joined.
Yeah, y'all know who I'm talking about. :P

i think for the most part, it's a case of people feeling inadequate about the size of their pee-pee. ;)

That's why they drive big trucks when they're not in construction.

There's no need for hazing and jerks on this forum. You either know your stuff or you don't. If you have a lot of experience and knowledge good for you, do you want a medal? Anyway we do have a great member base and I'm also glad being a part of it. :D
