Re: aggresive fitment legacys
Still racking some numbers here.
16x8 might work better. The steelies are 16x6.5 Subaru rims with a 48 offset. Adding 1.5 inch to the lip bring the offset to 28-29. Much more manageable.
for reference..

Re: aggresive fitment legacys
Stretching doesn't affect outside rolling diameter. Running a different width isn't the end of the world with the same tire diameter; some of the old timeattack setups were experimenting with different widths front and rear to tune turn-in response.
It's getting different widths, even if you were able to match OD, that would concern me, because you're changing the "grip balance" front to rear. I'd expect a center diff to pack up in that case much quicker than any minor OD mismatch.
That said, I don't really like stretching.
That said, here's my car on 18x8.5's with a 225/40/18, lol. It's not herrafrush, would need a 15mm spacer, more camber, and more low.

It does make for tons of room as far as fitment is concerned, I could lower the car another inch with no issues. Not really my style, but I got the tires for free and wanted to bolt on the wheels before I sold them.

Re: aggresive fitment legacys
New tires will be here by the end of the week. Car will get muuuuuuch lower, side skirts need to go back on.
Re: aggresive fitment legacys
Stupid questions... Just did brakes- calipers, rotors, dot4 fluid, SS lines.... Notice on all my brakes I have a angled/uneven pad wear on just 1 pad on each caliper. This doesn't have anything at all due to my super negative camber since the calipers attach to the entire hub correct?
Re: aggresive fitment legacys
That doesn't sound like anything camber oriented. One that that could do it is worn out wheel bearings. That would cause the hub to sit sightly angled while everything else is in place correctly. Thats my only guess.

You should because not a lot of Legacys get fitment right. Stretch, poke, wheel gap and the 'cleanness' is spot on...
