Not as low as it was (~25mm higher), but better looking wheels.
damn nice grids, what specs?
The usual 18 x 9.5 +38, 3mm spacer in the front to clear the Brembo's (so +35 in the front), 235/40/18 tyres.
Tein Flex, Whiteline Rear Arm set. Camber is ~-2.2 all round.
All guards are now rolled and front inners have been "massaged".
BEast! I love that legacy! I was going to get rims, but the school im going to after i finish with community doesnt have parking, so its going to sit at my parents house. so im going to wait.
But where did you find the lancaster badge!
Yes officer, I did hit a pedestrian, but instead of dwelling on that why not focus on how many I've missed?
It came with the rear tail gate I got from Japan - whole tail gate (no dents etc), the glass, the garnish, the interior trim, the wiper motor/arm etc and the badge - for $300 landed at my door.
You can get them from Japanparts.com too;

That's the plan, need stiffer springs too.
What's going on with your wagon?
Nothing exciting. Driving it to and from work. Still haven't fixed stuff. It's cold here.
I think he was talking about the body style which I would be agree with how ugly they are.Originally Posted by ESSYMOND

I still don't quite understand why people like this. It basically makes the car 100% less practical for driving on anything except laser-level, dry pavement.

I like a lowered car, but tastefully so. These remind me of why I got out of the whole S13 scene.

Some people do have disposable income to do not so practical Mods on a second car they own. A lot of the cars here aren't practical, its a hobby and hobbies cost money and alot of the time there's no return in it, it just keeps you busy. I would do something extreme like that if I had the money and a scond car. Would I do it to a daily drive, absolutely not. Most of the Mods we do aren't practical for daily driving, but we do it because its fun.

Not true. Your definition of practical might be different than mine. If I can drive to work and back, it's 100% as practical as it would be otherwise. My car is that height for the summer. I've had no problems at all. Daily driven with atleast 100kms a day. Also drove a 2300km road trip from Toronto to Maryland, with one passenger (big guy), full cooler in the back seat, 3 full luggage peaces, and 2 150+pc tool sets in the back. Practical enough for me. Can I go offroad like an Outback? No, and don't plan on it. Though, I have driven dirt roads. As long as you slow down for speedbumps and lot entrances, there are no issues. Chuck or someone else from Toronto can vouch for how shitty Kingston road east of Coxwell is. That is my daily commute. Also have many friends in the VW community, we all know how low those guys go .Originally Posted by anothernord

I don't care how dumb/impracticable lowered cars are..
Slammed chassis rollin' is car sex period!

Don't get me wrong I like the look of a slamed car, but I say if you are going to slam your car at least get a set of rims that fit then. I hate it when people use huge amounts of camber or tires that are not wide enough so they can get their rims to fit. It ruins it IMO.
