Racing games don't need to have stories. And what is with the button mashing.

Need for Speed Underground 2 was, in my opinion, was one of the best. It was the first to offer up a free range of play with great customization, a great selection of cars, and very little story. Then we had Most Wanted and Carbon. I lost my faith in these games...
    Give me Forza any day.

No story? Cmon. Nfs has always been about storytelling and action. Theyre the game you want to play after watching fnf or gone in 60 seconds.

They fill a niche that the hardcore sim types will never compete with. You can pick up and play and enjoy some action without having to super tune your suspension etc etc.

Im also looking forward to the "reboot" of Driver- if anyone ever played the original on the PSX then you know how good the driving AND the story is.

    IT"S A VIDEO GAME.

Good lord. Do you watch movies and ask the same question - hey how can Jason Statham get beat up, shot and then the next 15 mins he's still able to run fast enough to jump on a train?

That's the whole POINT of video games and movies. If we wanted ultra-realism then every racetrack in Forza would be 3 square blocks around your old highschool.

NFS:Run looks like a MEGAblast of adrenaline. I played NFS:World online a month ago. I wonder how it's going to compare...

Ok so I downloaded the played the demo on my Xbox.

AWESOME. It had non-car fans and car-fans alike sitting around the tv fighting over the controller.
