I keep hearing how there is no Bay Area Meet for Leggy owners, so lets change that! My thought is to maintain a list on the first post, so there is no need to search out the info. In the first post, you will see I put down local members, city and links to their MR1 reports. I'm also thinking of putting together a map, just showing the citys with SL-i members. If you want to be added or your info needs correction, just post the info here. If you want to be removed, post here or send me a pm.

We can use this thread for planning meetups, bbqs, tech days, caravans... you name it!

If you want to volunteer your location for a tech day, bbq, or whatever, that would be sweet!

This will be good, a friend and I used to hold a meet back in the day for 2.5rs's and 2.5GT's I would be down to do it again, we went on a drive then bbq'd. I can offer my muscles (little what i have) I dont have a pretty toolset but i know how to do anything from brake swaps to electrical work. And you can add me in as vallejo/Walnut Creek.

Im totally down for this! Thank you for taking the initiative to starting a thread for this. With many of us coming from different parts of the bay area, we'll have to decide where makes the most sense for the meet. So no one has to drive a ridiculous amount of time. lets make this happen though!

Right now I believe there is an I-Club meet they do over in Fremont, and Legacies are welcome (one of my buddies goes there a lot and its not as crazy as it used to be). Im down for a meet/event/build session, got the tools too! I go to SJSU and work/live in Newark so im across the South Bay alot.

(BTW, I havent made a new members ride yet, but I run an 02 BH now).

No problem, I was kinda waiting for someone else to get it rolling and wondered why I hadnt done it!
I think it also makes sense to do them on weekends, since some will have to drive for an hour to get home.

This weekend works. Depending on everyones availability, does sunday work better for most? I work all day saturday but that can be changed if needed. Maybe doing an earlier saturday meeting? 10-3 for example. Im down for whatever works the best, I'll make it work.

Ahh sh*&. I was hoping it was for next week. I know i had said im free but a couple of people have taken tomorrow off from work and my day is getting a little crazy. I will still try to make it tomorrow but chances are i wont. The next meet i will def make sure im free for. I will try to go into work late but we'll see. We joked a bit that if we cant get more Legacys out, that we will just turn it into a green Subaru meet!

r3v_v3ng3 was kind enough to bring a grill for the Forester guy and GT side skirts for me! He also had a 95-96 front bumper with a semi-rare factory lip tucked in his car!

Looks good! Good locale since its not too bad for many of us in the East Bay/South (lots of I-clubbers in Fremont). Unfortunately this wknd was for studying for this wk....if there is planning for this wknd I may be able to stop by!

Side note:

Any one interested in BE takeoffs? I got two sets for an outback,LegacyGT and also brakes and BH rims if anyone is interested....
