    Swapping intake manifold.... Headaches

G'day guys im in the process of fitting new engine to my 99 legacy GT wagon.
I have discovered that the harness under intake manifold is slightly different. Different sensors. Throttle body and injectors are different.
What I would like to know , Is there an easier way to reinstall intake manifold. .?
Also , the fuel lines run under the manifold. Is this able to be changed or would it be asking for trouble to mess with this. If I Change it to a fuel rail , does this change where the lines run?
    Thanks in advance.
    Dave
