    96 Legacy Outback, hello!

Just introducing myself here, and my 1996 Legacy Outback powered by an EJ25D/4EAT. Car is currently getting a matte "Molten Red Metallic" paint job, and is my kick ass daily driver at the moment. I've absolutely fallen in love with this car (and Subaru's in general) since owning this car, and that's a lot coming from a die hard Mitsubishi owner. Looking forward to seeing what the forum will bring.

    My show car, 1995 3000GT VR-4

    Coming home

Full engine rebuild due to bad head gaskets (first night of ownership, bought car knowing this)

How it sat a couple of days ago on 15s

Now on WRX 16s with brand new tires

Thanks! The Subaru gets set aside most of the time for that car, its my dedicated show car, and a HUGE Mitsubishi based car show local to me is coming up. First place won't up and get itself!

I really like the 3000GT. I had a '92 Mitsubishi GTO when I lived in Japan and they hold a special place in my heart.

Do you plan to make a ride thread for your Outback?

Ballsy move buying a car with a blown HG, particularly not a car you seem to have a lot of experience with? But props.

Love the 3000GT too - always toyed with getting either that, or a Nissan 300ZX.

Pretty soon though, you'll want to mod the heck out of the Subaru...and we're here for you in your time of need.

HAHA, agreed. So many times have I rehearsed in my mind blowing past built cars in my rusty grandma wagon. I absolutely adore this thing, I think I will go ahead and make a build thread here soon. Lots have been changing recently, so it might be cool to track my progress.

Recently placed first in my class at the All Mitsubishi Cookout and Car show, and the Legacy has gotten a TON of new parts.

    Including:

    99 Limited Outback Leather seats
99 Limited Outback Leather door cards
    Legacy Grille
    Legacy GT Hood
Brand new OEM (from the dealer, but I got a hell of a deal) Outback fog lights
6k HID's in both headlights and fog lights
New fog light grilles (believe they're from a 3rd Gen)
7.7"x12" transmission cooler, OEM fluids, filter
    Plate relocation
