    98 Outback wheel

So I was looking to buy new rims for my 98 Outback. I currently am running the stock 15 inch rims on there and was wondering what I could run if I wanna go bigger like say a 17" Ive never purchased rims before so I know absolutely nothing. I just want something that will be simple and bolt up with no worries or hassle. Thank You

Stay oem, Anything in 5x100 bolt pattern will bolt up with no issues for the most part. I have 08 wrx 17" with 215-45-17 tires on my 96 legacy wagon, Little bit of rub at full lock but other than that no problems. I scored those for $250 so just keep your eyes open for a good deal. Also you can find alot of jdm stuff floating around just gotta look around

Can confirm. I'm about to put my '05 Outback XT 17" wheels on my '97 Outback, which I have all but physically confirmed will fit (everything I've read say they'll be fine). My only concern is if the 97's stock 15" wheels will fit on my '05 for the time being.

I've got 18 x 7.5" with 215/45/18 tyres and they fit fine on my Outback. Mines also been de-lifted, and has bilsteins. The offset on my wheels are +35
