    I got another one!

What's up everyone!?! Long-time member here but have been without a Subaru since 2013. I guess something clicked and I had to get another one. So, I'm back to sl-i. Feels good.

Car's a stock 05 LL Bean H6 with 166k miles and plenty of maintenance. Previous owner took immaculate care of it but also used it as his only vehicle for his family. Basically a well maintained, sorta high milegage family truckster. Took it to the tail of the dragon yesterday and this thing rocks!

I'll be moving to Rochester New York soon and this will be my DD. Plans are to maintain the crap out of it, clean the headlights, get Primitive Racing front and rear (diff) skid plates, and upgrade the brakes someohow.

Very nice. Another 3.0R! For the brakes, I believe yours comes with the Legacy 2.5i brakes. @geckoboy86 should be able to confirm that. But you can go to the Legacy GT front brakes. You will need 17 inch wheels to clear those.

    Congrats! Love that color!

...there are many wonderful wheels that fit over upgraded brakes

Thanks fellas! The car rocks so far. It's literally the nicest vehicle I have ever owned and is a huge improvement compared to my BH 3.0.

The car does have 17 inch wheels factory. Curious why Subaru would give 2.5i brakes on a supposed flagship. I'll have to investigate - are there any markings on the rotors or that would indicate what it has from the factory?

I am not sure about markings. GT front rotors are 12.3 inch diameter while the 2.5i are 11.5 inch diameter. Rears are bigger on the GT set up as well. GT rears are 11.3 inch and vented cs 10.6 inch solid.
