    6 year delayed introduction.

So just a quick introduction for me!

My name is Cody and I'm from Butler, PA. I started on this forum a little over 6 years ago when my girlfriend (now wife) owned a 1997 Legacy Outback Wagon. I always loved that car and even made a quick how to thread for clearing up my headlights.

We ended up selling the OBW to buy a 4 runner but I've always been looking for another one.

About 3 months ago I stumbled upon a 1999 Outback wagon at a very VERY small car dealership near my house (it was the only car on the lot) and could not pass up the deal. It has 95,000 miles on it and its a 5 speed and I think I got a pretty good deal considering the lack of rust.

So I have already done a little work but there is so much work that still needs done. It was a one owner from what I understand prior to the dealership getting it at auction. It was in a parking garage in Pittsburgh for most of it's life from what I can tell as well and a lot of the bushings are a bit old.

I have already done WRX suspension the whole way around and new Hard Race endlinks in the front. I have other parts that are going on in the next week or so but I'll detail all of that in a build thread soon. I just wanted to officially say hi now that I own my own Legacy.

I can't wait to spend much more time here. Thanks to everyone on here because without all of the information I've found on here I would have never been able to do what I've done already!

Here is a quick photo of how she sits as of right now:

While it looks level in that photo, I think it is SLIGHTLY lower in the rear. I'm going to try to make spacers for the rear and if I don't like them I might just buy some.

    Thanks everyone!!!

Welcome...again Cody! Very lucky to find a '99 with only 95,000 miles & silver is a great color for the Outbacks. Looking forward to your build thread. The more BDs, BGs and BKs on the forum, the happier the world becomes.
