Hi All,
Up for sale is The Heritage Wagon. I don't especially want to sell it, however, I am planning to start a family this year and want something easier for the wife to park & unload/load a car seat into with backup sensors/park assist etc.
I took it upon myself four years ago to holistically restore, rejuvenate and modify the Legacy to be the best possible example I could imagine. This being a one owner car makes it extremely unique. I remember driving out of the dealership lot 22 years ago in it!

$5900 OR BEST OFFER

Details:
  • Original owner! Purchased at Thomason Subaru in Gladestone, OR back in June of 1995 by my father. It's been in the family since new!
  • Mileage: 225,000
  • Clean Title
  • An "L" AWD & ABS equipped car
  • Very minimal rust - nearly rust free
  • A massive folder of most every single maintenance record - it is an impressive collection!
  • Original window sticker
  • Two sets of OEM keys, one being an STi cut key
  • 5 Speed manual transmission with ~140K miles from a '00 Legacy GT wagon. 4.11 final drive with a limited slip differential & new, OEM Exedy clutch kit + resurfaced flywheel with less than 3K miles. Swapped from auto to manual properly. This is a clean, OEM looking feel and swap.
  • All original EJ22. Runs excellent! This is a turn key car I wouldn't hesitate to jump in and drive anywhere today. Oil religiously changed every 2-3K miles with Castrol GTX High Mileage 10w-30. The engine doesn't miss a beat and still likes to sing high up in the rev range without fault. It does burn about a quart of oil every 1000 miles which I think is well within reason given the mileage. Rear main seal, baffle plate, cam seals, valve covers and most every other gasket has been replaced in the last 20K miles. Timing belt & water pump due in 25K
  • Complete tune up & valve cover gaskets 1,000 miles ago. Running prime - no oil leaks
  • No check engine lights or other dash lights
  • Everything functions as it should including door locks, power windows, cruise control, stereo, heater, AC, seat functionality, fog lights, etc.
  • Nearly every single body panel on the car has been replaced in the past three years including:
    Hood
    Front Bumper (JDM)
    Rear Bumper (JDM)
    Both Front Fenders
    All Four Doors
    Rear Hatch
    Rebuilt P/S Rear Quarter Panel

Beyond the extensive preventative maintenance and restoration of the drivetrain, body and the interior, there is a massive amount of modifications done to the car:

Like anything that is 22 years old it isn't completely perfect. It's a city car so there are some door dings, bumper scuffs and a few scratches around the car. It could benefit from a new windshield (no cracks just some pitting). With that said, I personally believe the car looks very good given its age & mileage. Please PM me for serious inquiries. Don't be that dick who replies telling me what KBB is or how much you sold your's for last year...
