The BK greeted me this morning with a dead battery. It barely started the car to go home from work yesterday. The battery is about 7 years old so I don't think the alternator is an issue too. At least I hope not. I had drive my POS BH to work this morning.

There are some noises.. it turns out a lot of them were a dead end link on FSB, so disconnect and happier.
still some mystery noises though but it climbs like a mule!
Isn't low range amazing? I can't wait till I get back to working on my truck and end up with about a 75:1 crawl ratio. Then again it's needed to push the size tires i run with a 4-banger. Gonna be so much different than the 30:1 I have now.
mine:
'98 Legacy 2.5 GT Limited 5MT white sedan
'96 SVX LSi 4EAT green
for parts: '97 Legacy 2.5 GT 5MT white sedan
While driving today I had my son in the back seat and could hear him talking to himself and laughing. it sounded like he was sitting on a washer machine. So I took a look under the car and noticed I need a new end link on the rear passenger side. Which also explains why the car kinds sways on hard turns. I've been trying to catch up on bills and nothing yet. I just keep losing and my car keeps getting neglected with parts it's really starting to piss me off that I can't do nothing to fix it for now.

yeah I bet the 75:1 is pretty sweet! Is it an old 'yota 4-banger? what are each of those rigs?
I know mine isn't much when compared to the 4x4 truck world, but mine adds up to 20.5:1 (4.11 axle ratio helps ) in an AWD, 4-door sedan
I failed at doing a brake job.

Changed a burned out fog light bulb. It lasted all of about 3 weeks. Thats what I get for cheap ebay bulbs. Oh and yesterday I replaced the dead battery. That lasted 7 years.

Oh my god, I love your license plate frame!
That is an awesome frame. I need that for my 74. Since I have the back debadged most people mistake it for an old Datsun half the time. That would only add to the confusion. Lol.

I installed leather front and rear seats from an outback into my Brighton, no more ugly worn out blue seats!
I also found a cargo cover at the salvage yard I got the seats from, and they GAVE it to me! Heck yes.

Check for cracks in the housing and lens, make sure the bulb holder is properly seated so moisture isn't getting in through there. If that's all good you'll have to bake it and split the light to add sealant. Don't use silicone to reseal, use 3M window weld ribbon... which is butyl rubber like the OEM sealant. If you have any questions about doing this, shoot me a PM.Originally Posted by 98legwag
