Updated my OEM Nav unit to version 9.0 which was just released last month.
I started to mock up a cardboard template for my skid plate
Ohhhhh y'know, bought another one. I basically bought it for the original gold RS 5 spokes and parting the rest... well it had a lot more goodies that the previous owner didn't know about. JDM headlights, MSD coil, Perrin lightweight crank pulley, strut tower bars, newer struts, GT front brakes, aftermarket intake pipe, some Kartboy bits... good stuff. If I'd quit pulling parts off it and putting them on my car, I could probably make some decent money off it
That Perrin LCP went straight onto my car. Wheels are going on my car. Intake? My car. Strut tower bar? My car.

- Fixed my wobbly windows
- Flushed the P/S system (about time)
- re-organized all of my storage cubbies
- Filled up the full size spare
- Got my new wheels on (pictures to come after car wash)

Yep, foz is gone. Too many things going wrong and I didn't have the time out energy to deal with them. It's a CVT. Better mpg and the wife can drive it. I actually quite like the CVT anyways.

Very nice. There was one of those at my work that was lowered and had Work wheels on it. I haven't seen it in months though.

Today I disabled the daytime running lights.
Tuesday I replaced my melted passenger headlamp connector with the cheap Dorman one. I'll need to find a better replacement. These Dorman parts are cheaply made.
Honestly, most Dorman stuff I've come across is pretty decent for the price. You could certainly look at fabbing up your own if you have decent soldering skills or even crimping/heatshrink skills

I put a trailer hitch on the Tribeca. 2" receiver, thank goodness, it's annoying only being able to find 1 1/4" stuff for most other Subarus.

I finally got a liftgate lock rod to fit. I may have a 2nd key, but I can now get to my jump leads when the battery goes flat.
I painted parts for everyone elses Legacy's today... haha
Today was a big tire and wheel swap day. I had my old tires and TPMS moved from my Impreza Sport wheels moved to my Rotas. My mother had her tires moved to the Impreza Sport wheels. Her old 7 spoke outback wheels are in storage in my garage.
I looked at some parts on the internet and dreamed....

Threw in my FX-Rs. Took about 2.5 hours once I got the brackets from my mailbox, lol. Way too easy.
Also installed a new head unit. Better SQ, nav, dvd, usb/sd, sat radio.

Lowered the rear yesterday, drove it around today and I was rubbing a bit on the rear right.
So today I took a rubber mallet to the "roll" the rear quarter panels. I only rolled them about half way but that cleared enough space. Can't go any lower without running into Outback spacer related height issues.
Looks lower in person, the black edge trim doesn't really show up in the pictures so it looks like wheel gap...

Spend most of my day on the legacy at the shop. Hand wash, clay, wax, shampoo, vacuuming, interior and engine bay.

Customer gave me his old lights after I built him some fancy custom bix retrofitted ones. One had a 2x3" hole in the side where the inner tab was supposed to be, plastic welded that back in. I couldn't just leave them alone since I split them to plastic weld the interior side, so I started on a quad MH1 build for funsies. I'm going to ditch the gatling shrouds and vacuum form something similar to the stock one's shape, integrate it into the bezel. Can't stand the gaps showing the high beam reflector behind the projector.

I changed the old oil and oil filter in the wagon for some fresth Pennzoil 5w-30 and a fresh Purolator filter.
