On the 13th of August 09' @ 6pm while driving northbound some lady who was driving southbound decided that she would like to go left through the intersection as I was crossing the intersection traveling at 60km. I t-boned her and she sent me spining through the intersection. I am 6' 3" and 260lbs. I removed my airbag for my personal safety since there is only 4-5 inches between my wheel and my chest. This is the sole reason why I am alive and not in the hospital. You will notice that even with my Nardi wheel w/o airbag and airbag ecu throwing a light, my passenger airbag deployed Anywho. Myself and the other driver walked away with a few bruises and a few scrapes, I am slowly replacing my BD back to stock. New plans on the way. You just wait. TOTALED. --- more. -------- On Feb 2008 I picked up my 97' BD GT @ 142,000 km (88,234 miles) w/ a replaced head gasket . It was Deep Sapphire Blue and had a few dings with a L hood (no scoop) and a rusty sunroof. Semi-stock. w/ OEM Deep Sapphire Blue paint. After a year of hunting down legacy owners/part sellers/junk yards from Canada/America/Japan/New Zealand/Australia I am somewhat happy with what I have built. When it gets warmer I'll post most of my mods but for now its cold and dirty. [/quote]As long as your 99' legacy is a BD/BK/BG chassis code you can use anything from a pre-2002 Impreza. Every suspension compenent I have is 93-01' impreza (GC chassis code)
Just look at my parts list. Most of its is documented and should give you the info that you need.
Some parts are universal, some are 2002+ impreza parts modified to fit. Most are pre-2002 impreza.

Man that sucks that it's totaled. Hope you can at least salvage most of the custom parts that weren't on the front end.
