engine bay suggestions

i am wanting to spruce up the ol'engine bay
I have seen a bunch of different things from a black block/gold valve covers & IM combo in an SVX

the red IM and valve cover combo

i just am not sure how i should go with my car. any suggestions? everything i think of is just meh, even just leaving as is is meh.

You can get some chrome under there. Battery covers, plaques....... Not sure what color your car is. Ill try and dig up the pics I saw on my LS1 site.

Color schemes.
IM = RED
Valve covers = Gold
Cam covers = Black
Wires = Red

"itsmidge" painted his valve covers blue but you get the idea.

1) Degrease engine bay
2) Radiator air diversion panel (aluminum)
3) Fender plug
4) Optima Red Top Battery
5) Strut bar
6) Lightweight pulleys
7) high pressure rad cap
8) Oil catch can
9) 2.2 intake if you have a 2.5 or aftermarket warm arm intake
10) Grounding kit

I'd just stick to silver, black or something...I hate the blue and red aftermarket bits in my engine bay.

Thats what i do to whenever i need to cover the rust i use black or silver spray it doesn't look aftermarket but clean

i love tucked engine bays but i have not the skills or time to pull that off,
if i have the chance the next time th emotor is out i am at least going to paint the block a nice flat black, and a glossy blue on the im and valve covers, big if though
