Was driving home on the freeway and my check engine light came on randomly. Went got some food from boston market (craving some meatloaf), turned my car back on and the light was still there, so i drove to autozone had the fat bastard get off his lazy ass to pull my code.
The computer came back and said pass, there was no code. Turned the car back on and no check engine light. What is up with that?

Could be a loose connection. You might also of had a probem, but it corrected. :smt017

In the process of doing the mods on my 06 LGT I had a problem with my Boost control solenoid ( I added to much boost). Every time I got on the car my light would come on. Anyway... The light would reset itself after 4 starts. The computer probably found something but since corrected it. The Auto Zone guy might have reset it but, it may have did it its self.

It's actually quite a convoluted process to clear the codes from the ECU with a scanner. It's not quite as easy as hitting "RESET".

had a simular issue. make sure you put your gas cap on nice and tight. on my 98' If I do not click it 3+ times, the light will come on and every now and then pop off. scan and let us know next time what it says

Nothing to worry about. The issue came and went (cleared itself). Go and enjoy life.
Sometimes this is the beginings of an O2 sensor in its death kneels, but this can go on for a year.
Or the car doesnt like meatloaf.

Because it required high voltage input then other vehicles. So there are two batteries are applied to it.

O2 sensor heater is going bad, is what the code says.
Will replace the O2 sensor and see what happens after that
