One year ago, I bravely dissembled the cluster. After I put it back, I got no light anymore. I didn't want to disemble it again and left it there for one year. I just read Mark's post about coloring the light, which is very interesting. But can anyone tell me how to get the light back first. Thanks!

what light are you referring to? There's quite a few on the back of the cluster. It can be as simple as reinstalling the bulbs, or making sure the connections to the cluster are properly seated.

currently I can only see lights for a few seconds when I start my car. After that the dashboard is dark, I cannot see speed meter light, no rpm meter, temperature meter, and gas meter. What could be the problem?

Turn your headlights on?

The dash on these cars doesn't illuminate unless your headlights are on, or there's a problem with a gauge/sensor.

For example, fuel light will not illuminate unless your tank level drops below a certain point.

But if you are talking about the BACKLIGHTING for the gauges (speed, tach, engine temp and fuel level), the backlighting doesn't show up unless your headlights are on.

if you adjust the brightness of the lights, they can go all the way down to off.
