I Bought it as a direct import from Japan...had only 62000k's on the clock and was very original. I have since travelled 5000K's and fitted a STi front strut brace, a black hood air intake to give it more menace, K&N pod filter, free flow cat and turbo muffler box, STi 300kph/10000rpm instrument cluster, STi pedal set and 7" Kenwood LCD DVD.
Very happy with the car and only future mods will follow the STi factory theme i'm following.
Keeping an ear to the ground for a S401 being parted out to get it's larger top mount intercooler, turbo's, ecu and wheels :)

G'day mate.
Blitzen's are a special edition based off the RSK B4....not the GT, E-tune or GT-B wagon.
The full title of the car is the Subaru Legacy B4 RSK Blitzen (known as a Liberty in other territories, such as Australia).
Hope that helps you :)

So this is a fresh import then? Ahh, it's not one of the 3 Blitzen's that whipped past me on the Desert Road a couple of years back.

I remember it well - I was cruising along the road at 110km, and in my rearview I saw this bright red blob coming at me rapidly. Pretty soon, I could make out the distinctive gaps in the bumper and I excitedly told Mrs Huffer that our doors were about to be blown off by a Blitzen.

All of sudden the sedan pulled out to pass and there was ANOTHER Blitzen still in my lane - the sedan passed me, followed by the wagon, and there was another sedan still behind me.

Turns out the Blitzen club had just returned from a weekend ski-outing.

So much awesome on that road that day. Wish I'd been a helicopter following them on the road.

My apologies fwa2500, Yamazaki has just informed me you are correct and I am wrong. The small amount of info I have about these cars refers to them as either RSK B4 Blitzen's, B4 Blitzen's or just Blitzen's. Yamazaki tells me he has a library of info and the wagons are Blitzen Touring Wagon's...this is the first i've heard of them being referred to as this and am keen to see some more info from Yamazaki. So as it stands this is what i know as a fact about my car......it's a Subaru wagon, it's red, it has a Blitzen badge, it was co-designed by Porsche...and I like it.

Sorry again.

You have some of the finest muscle cars in the world in your neck of the woods....i'd gladly swap this car for a Dodge Demon 340, Duster, Dart, Cuda or any other Mopar Scat Pack car in descent order....sorry for the digression but Mopar's are my true hobby...I have a couple in the shed in different stages of restoration and have been involved in the Mopar car scene in Australia for the past 15 years. I returned to NZ for work a year ago and bought the Rex just for something different. Liked the Rex so much that I decided on the wagon for the missus...so there ya go...a bit about me :)

As for modifications read the first post. I wont be doing much more...just want to minimise the VOD a little with some S401 enhancements.

G'day from auckland, nice wagon. And yeah, for the gen 3's, GT = wagon, B4 = sedan. GT means gran tourer, or is sometimes referred to as touring wagon. Under the hood, the car is essentially the same as a GTB, it just has the pretty body kit designed by porsche. They were also a limited run. But that's about all i know.
