SW Washington state, that is (near Vancouver). Former car died, and I wanted to replace it with an AWD vehicle for the occasional uphill snowy commute home. Subaru and Audi seemed to be the front runners, but most Audis tend to call for premium fuel. So I'm now the owner of a 2000 Legacy L Wagon, assuming the dealer takes care of the P0420. Pretty tame compared to some of yours, I know, but its nice enough to meet my needs. Seems to handle fairly decently.
I'm new to Subaru. This one has 117k on the odometer. There seemed to be a lot of Outbacks and Legacies out there with 170k+ on Craigslist in good condition, so I'm anticipating several years with this car. Looking forward to the opportunity to get up that pesky hill outside my driveway the next time it snows.
