So I'm at it again with my cars lighting. the previous hood lamps are off for the season.
I had installed an hid kit, but I have them taken out for the time being since I don't want to be
one of those tools that blinds every one. I was at the local parts yard as I came across an svx.
The svx has a projector in it. I'm thinking of taking the svx unit apart and using the projector and the high beam,
then take another legacy head lamp assembly, using the shell of the legacy unit and fitting the svx parts into the
legacy shell. Any ideas. The svx unit was only 12.00. I'll also have to mod the legacy rear bracket to fit the projector.

thats actually pretty funny, i was just telling my roomate he should do that about 2 weeks ago (we just purcahsed another parts car svx that had busted headlights) turned out the innards were to destroyed for us to even try it out.

Hope fully it will work out I just need to make a table that I can use to vaccum mold the open areas of the lamp

the svx projectors are a horrible output. look into a retrofit or atleast upgrade to jdm lights

Well if only jdm had projectors for the first gen I would,
I've been looking at a retrofit but for the projector itself is astronomical
expensive, I would like to have highs and low instead of just low beams. Could the svx's
beam pattern be affected by the fact they're set so far back with a thick piece of plastic that they have to go throu??
