91 - 94 Legacy SS Crossmember

I remember seeing that a turbo crossmember from a 91 - 94 Legacy SS (Sport Sedan) is a direct bolt -on for the BE chassis. Just wondering though, if it makes a difference if it is from an Auto or 5 speed SS.

as long as its the engine crossmember and not the one for the tranny then no, it doesnt matter if the donor SS was an auto or a manual

I'm confused, thought the engine crossmember was the only crossmember in the front and that the tranny rested part way on it. I'm going to have find that pic of one I saw on this site, I think.

the engine cross member is this the only one in the engine bay, the tranny cross member which is under the car supports the middle of the tranny and is different from manual to automatic. The Engine cross member is not differant from auto to manual.

It just dawned on me. Would a crossmember from a 2004 Baja Turbo not be a direct bolt on for my BE. In essence the Baja is the only BE like chassis to don a turbo. Can anyone confirm this. I remember someone from this board that was unfortunate to lose his Baja Turbo in an accident. I wonder if parts from that car are still available.
