front strut bar to fit over intercooler?

i have the big intercooler so big i have to shave down some of the car to make it fit but i was wondering if i can get a strut bar that will fit, maybe one that goes under it or something i now the ones that curve up over it will not fit theres just no room fo the hood to close, maybe ill just take off my hood lol

you can get one to suit the Gen1 Leggy that comes forward of the TMIC and comes across the engine in front of the throttle body.

Is yours a Gen2 or gen3 GT Legacy??
i can;t remember if the front strut mounting positions are the same for Gen2 -> Gen3

the unit shown is a Whiteline "Mid-Mount" strut brace to suit a Gen1 Legacy (RS 'Liberty' here in Australia) with the WAIC

Pretty sure the Part Number is KSB-550 but check with your whiteline stockist to make sure

however, i don;t know if it'll hit the bonnet or not in a gen2
and i can't assure you it'll fit a gen3 either

mine is a 98 legacy gt i think its a 2nd gen. im new to the legacy thing sorry
