Rear Defrost not working

Rear defrost on my 97 GT doesn't work. The light will turn on when you press the button, but the rear window does not defog. I don't see any connectors on the inside of the glass.

Where can I start to look?

I have no idea what is up with mine too, but when I turn on the cruise with it it works. Same goes if I need to use cruise I have to put them both on. I guess maybe a short!

get a test light and test from one side to the other.
mine wasnt working.. ended up being the ground connection on the window wast attached, but it was behind the interior plastic paneling, it wasnt visible
