Low beam burns out

The low beam on the drivers side of my 1992 Legacy keeps burning out. I've replaced it twice and it fries immediately upon starting the engine.
Any insight?

You have a grounding issue. Check your ground points...

Make sure you don't touch the bulb with bare hands while installing it. Oil on the bulb can also cause it to burn out prematurely as it heats up.
