CD player stopped working on 97 legacy.

the wife says she was driving one day and noticed her CD player wouldnt eject and the little display stays blank and not lit up.

ONLY on the Cd player part of the stock radio.

are there seperate fuses? i wouldnt imagine, but who knows.

i havent had a chance to look thru the FSM.

It just means the CD module is dead. Go buy a new MP3 deck and get a 1 din pocket.

this is true, and what happened to me.

be sure and check the battery terminals, because mine were jiggling loose and that's what fried my 6disc unit.

and trying to replace the unit just isn't worth the money, when 1) it can happen again and 2) usb port conquers cd usage.
