hey guys i have been looking around and would like to buy a new drivers seat because i drive my legacy a lot and the stock ones have lost all comfort for me. i like them but i dont want both. so i wanted to ask on the boards and see if anyone with a RHD is interested in maybe going halfs on the seats and they can have the passenger one. or if i buy them if anyone would want the second seat. i do not know whereto post such a thread so i did it in general discussion. please let me know

There are not many people with RHD on this board. I would say for that price you should just use both of them. That is quite cheap for a set of seats although with ebay you do tend to get what you pay for. I have had a bad experience with an eBay seat. Also bear in mind that those seats might need to be mounted to Subaru seat rails which will cost you extra if you need to pay for rails and welding. Additionally, you might want to take that money you were about to spend on ebay and search the partouts on some of the bigger forums like NASIOC or RS25 and get a set of WRX seats which will bolt right in and are of better construction than the noname ebay seats.

+1 on the OEM WRX/STi seats...

And, you really should have matching seats for driver and passenger... it just looks odd otherwise.

true i have mostly been looking for 05 wrx seats but theres nothing much you can mess up on a seat. i just want more bolsters and factory seats arent the best way for that. I can weld and have installed seats in a car before. if i end up getting them i will post a diy but you're right i should post on nasioc

Uh, there's a ton you can mess up. Seat angle, locking mechanisms. Fabric type and wear. Think about it.
