Just got my car and it needs struts bad, 97LGT wagon
for a Daily driver would it be better to go with wrx springs and struts or 04 STi springs and struts? i know sti setup is stiffer but is it too stiff for kids?
Thanks

For a daily driver,
i have a full set of 04STi struts/ springs in my car (94 LGT Wagon) and it is a brilliant combo.
below is a pic i took today after swapping in the 04 STi rear springs (it did have king springs originally and they were terrible) and sat 15mm lower in the rear than it now does.
the ride is typical STi with it's "bobbly" ride at low speed (<60 km/h) but once you're at 80km/h it's smooth and firm. and when you're pushing it at 100+km/h it handles like it's on rails
Note the pic below also has 7mm body-strut spacers in the rear to keep the back end up a little.
i'm actually thinking of removing them as the difference in height from teh kings to the STi springs was more than i had anticipated.
so image the rear ride height is lover by just a little bit and that's how it sits... perfect in my opinion and basically teh same height as the JDM GT-B's do as standard

Hey there,
I too have a 97 LGT and was wondering if an 06' STI stock shocks will directly bolt on to my car?
