Trunk light

I have a 2002 Legacy Gt and my trunk light isn't working. I replaced the bulb but that didn't fix the problem. The old bulb was burned out. I tested the new one and it's good.

harness is pinched somewhere. Do you have a multi-meter probe to put in the plug to see if its getting current?

haha I dont think the light has ever worked in my subaru
