Does my Fel Pro head gasket kit require sealant?

I bought a Fel Pro head gasket kit, part number: HS 26167 PT-1.

It is for my 1998 Legacy GT. It has the 2.5.

It does not come with instructions regarding sealant. Should I put any on?

I'm not sure of that brand. So I'm assuming it's aftermarket.

When i did mine, I had OEM gaskets and did not use any sealant.

I was told you only need the sealant on like a 90 degree corner. That's what I didnt on my Neon and Accord and never leaked afterwards.

its the brand they sell at my local autozone i used it too, i didnt use sealant and i have a turbo it hasnt gone yet, i heard if you dont get the heads machined or your uncertain if they are flat then use a thin layer of sealant but im not sure
