Please help with data gathering (everybody)

I've recently discovered that, contrary to what I had thought for awhile, the ID plate on the US-spec models does correlate with models overseas (well, at least Japan anyway). So I would like to compile a spreadsheet of all the US model information I can. I already have the info that is the same as the J-spec models, but there are a lot of US only items and I don't have a breakout for any of it.

I am asking that people either post a picture of their ID plate, post the info itself, or PM me the information. Also, please include information about the car as provided in the example below (that's the whole point of this). And before anybody gets worried about disclosing the VIN - I don't need it. That VIN is only a North America thing as far as I know and doesn't correlate with models overseas. I only need the following:

1) Applied model
2) Trim code
3) Engine type
4) Color code
5) Transmission type

However... if they can be misused, why do dealers/sellers post them on Autotrader, KBB, and sites like that? I've always wondered that... but that's off topic for now.

Just curious what the symbol of the black circle with the 7 (or boomerange looking symbol) inside of it means. It obviously has to do with OEM because it is stamped all over the factory parts in my car. But is it a Fuji Heavy Industries symbol or what????

I'm going to say it is the symbol for FHI because it looks like a fancy way of writing "fu" in katakana and the other characters next to it say "Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd".

As for the Australian ID plate.... that has all sorts of new stuff to me.

Another one you'll see allot is DENSO, Denso make pretty much all the electronics... for most japanes car companies... Hence toyota, mitsubishi, nissan, honda, subaru etc all sharing the same loom plugs :p

Compared to other SS's, the vin is kind of wierd. For example, JF2 refers to a Japanese MPV, and the safety code "C" refers to it's GVR, not auto/manual seatbelts and airbags like others do.

The printing for color code (it is cut off in the pic) is gone, and thats as clean as its getting with out a polishing wheel i guess. That might make it worse tho lol.
