97 legacy driveshaft into 02 legacy? [Archive]

Just wondering if a 97 Legacy 5 speed driveshaft will fit into an 02 Legacy 5 speed. Anyone out there know? Thanks in advance.

I'm going to say no because the vehicles are different lengths. But the only one way to be sure is to disconnect it and see.

no, theyre different lengths; found this out the hard way. If you're in need of a 5spd BE driveshaft, I still have mine after I did my 6spd swap.
