Well I guess I will start with the Civic, I bought it for $100 bucks with more rust than metal, and ripe old mileage of 360,000 miles, but the car was a stick and ran like a top so 99.99% of the work needed was body work.
Mods:
Upgraded tape deck circa early 90's
Rustolem flat black paint cost maybe $20 bucks to paint
Shaved all emblems
All told I have less than $200 dollars in the car and have already run it this past 2 years at CPR Region of the scca in the H-stock class and after that abuse she still runs like a champ and all she needs now is some new tires, cant complain for 200 dollar investment.
Sorry for shitty pictures, when I get a new camera I will take some better pictures

thanks, it was alot of body work but the end result was worth it, but now the timing belt has gone so it maybe time to retire the 360k civic to junkyard heven and spend more time getting my 2.5rs ready to run

honda´s are sooo easy to fix, why spend all this time on the body and then just junk it ?

^ because he knows how to do body work?? LOL. Good job on the body work man.. more pics! Definitely looks great. And yeah.. can't justify junking that car just cause of the timing belt. I don't even think they are interference engines are they??

Thanks, yeah they are an interference motor, but it broke while the car wasnt even running so there may not be head damage... It kinda depends on that for the fate of the car, its a sedan so its not popular style even though it weighs about 2200 lbs... It would be cool to do something for the grassroots motorsports $2010 or $2011 challenge as I have maybe 200 300 max in the car... Hmm convert to AWD suby specs hmmm????

Minor Update, the Civic is back alive, we tore the motor apart and the timing belt was still intact and looked to be in good shape... We went ahead put a new timing belt in and messed with timing and the car now runs like a champ. The Civic is now being DD'd (Up to 378k) by my father because his Ford F-250 gets awful gas mileage.

Almost the same interior as my old 89 crx. I would get rid of one of my legacys for another crx, civic like this, cb7 accord or a damn motorcycle again... good job on the body work, more pics coming?

Yeah, when I get back home from School I'll post some updated pictures. Haha everytime Im home I always drive around in the civic. I love how small and nimble it is, and you feel much more connected with whats going on compared to my subarus. Reason, I think you should get yourself an Ef Civic or CRX... I and my brother both have civics and I payed 150 for mine and my brother paid 400 for his with an almost perfect body on it so they are really cheap to buy now.

Yeah it's my favorite car magazine other than Top Gear (but that magazine is crazy expensive) .... Yeah who knows what the fate of the civic will be, but I do wonder what the highest mileage EF civic out there is anyone here of some crazy high mileage Civics?
