i have a mean streak a mile wide when it comes to people riding my ass. its a bad think and
im working on not geting pissed off. but thats beside the point. anyways...
i went for a drive to night and i was going about 5 over the speed limit and a ass hole in
a s10 Zr2 (very similar to mine) comes up on me fast and starts riding my ass and flashing his lights :smt013
so i start to slow down till im going about 10 mph he goes to pass me in the oncoming traffic, as soon as he pulls out
to pass me i dump it to first and punch it to the floor and and i launch to to 6200 rpms and slam it into second gear
and in a mater of seconds we were flying down the street and he was forced to slide in behind me. tailgating as he got be hind.
so a tap the brakes as a warning he continued. so i tapped the brakes again harder. after only a moment of this i pulled into a parking lot and he followed me i got out and started walking towards him and was yelling profanities and he rolled down his window and called me a "F@$%ing pussy" yet refused to get out and fight me so i punched him square in the f@%kin face. and he sped off into the night.
im just so sick of people who act all tough untill it comes down to fist for fist, or pound for pound.
something about having a gas pedal makes people feel like they are the toughest people on the road.

well the dent happened prior to this and this was my first road rage match in this car. i have only owned this car a couple months. for some reason i always get into road rage when im in one of my trucks.

i have a theory that trucks/nice cars make you feel like your the king of the road because i never get in road rage with some one in a mini van. its always the D-bag in the bmw or the chevy truck or whatever.

I hope he does too, because had that been me in the other car (not that I'd drive like that anyway) that is EXACTLY what would have happened. I'd have dropped his ass right on the pavement with a 9mm to the chest without hesitation. I don't know if the person coming towards me has a weapon, and if he's threatening me and acting like a nutcase, I have a right to defend if I feel that my life is in danger (where I live anyway). That crap isn't cool at all.

I don't care how much of a douche other people may act like on the road, by retaliating or trying to piss them off (slowing down to 10mph?) you are NO BETTER than they are. Not one bit. :neutral:

I find just keeping my cool and ignoring them to work just fine. They leave me alone and go bother someone else.

If they don't back off from you just slowing way down, pull over and let them go by, if they don't pass you at that moment anyway. It's a ridiculous thing to do what you did. Just speeding up as he tried to pass you, pulling over, and initiating physical contact makes you in the wrong just as much as that guy.

People riding my ass really piss me off too, but I've learned my lesson as well. When a 45 year old man approaches a 17 year old kid with no thought of consequences, it scared me to no end. And I didn't do ANY of the stupid crap you did, all I did was tap the brakes, pull into a parking lot and the crazy bastard followed me for 2 scary hours.

first off i would never KILL anyone. there is one vital point your all forgetting. i live in kaysville utah. we have the highest population of mormons per capita than anywhere else in utah. not to mention a super low crime rate. and besides i wasnt trying to prove anything.
plus the original reason i pulled into the parking lot was to just get away. and then he followed me and he was calling me a "pussy"?
i didnt punch him cuz he was tailgating me. i punched him because he pulled in with me so he must have wanted something to go down, and because he called me all these gay names. besides that it wasnt the first time i have had problems with this punk ass.
he went to school with me. and he is a total fag. infact, thats not the first time i punched him. last time i punched him it was because he had a pipe and was beating my buddys Tahoe and i went up and was like "WTF dude"? and he swung the pipe and hit me in the arm and the second time he took a swing i grabbed it and knuckle punched his ass. and he ran away like a pussy.
