:smt021 :smt013 So before you finish buying your rotten fruit from the local market to throw at me..here me out first! :smt022

I have been in the mood for new tires and wheels and was looking around mostly looking for 04 sti rims but due to the rarity finding them in my surrounding area is nonexistent, and when i do find it out of the area shipping is no different than my ex.

With that said I found a thread on the Rota Gravel Rims. They are the knock off of the STi's and at first sight without reading I thought I was in pure love and bliss! Name brand rims(depending how you look at it), look like the rims I really really want, cheap price, flush offset and I can pick them up locally!!!! Perfect right?

Well after reading the sizes, the smallest they have is 18" 7.5 width, in my opinion ehhhh :-( I really dont think the size would look good on the legacy maaaaayyybee on the 05+ but the BD's look good with 17" rim such as the Sti's imo.

So my question is what is your opinion of 18'is on a BD yay? nay? Do you have pics to back up your yaying or naying?? I would like to see all!

Nothing wrong with 18's, that's the size I was planning to get for the summer.

18s are fine. If you have good pavement and can put up with a 165hp engine turning four huge wheels.

Yea he is right! Your speedo is going to be off a ton and the lag you are going to get from the line is going to drive you crazy. I would not go 18s unless you have mods/swap that can handle them!

Well going for the whole "slow" factor, if you really don't mind your car being a bit slower than it is now, go for it.

Daily driving, you would notice no difference in speed. I was going to get some 18 Fnor1C last winter, 18x8. Honestly, with a nice clean lowered car, I think the 18's look a bit better on the BG/BK; they fill the fenders really nice.

The only really bad thing is the tyre price between 17's and 18's- but with more and more cars coming factory with 18"+ wheels, they are getting cheaper pretty quickly. I'd say go for it.

It's not always how "fast" your car is. Some people actually like to look good.
