So I know I seen a thread on swaping the saggy rear with the OB rear somewhere. Thought there was even pics on the thread. I bought my 01 lgt Sedan last month and I can fit my 4fingers between the front tire to fender... The rear I can only get like 2 fingers. I'm on a budget and just want to raise the rear only, I don't really want to drop the front cause I want the road clearance. I know I read like like 10threads now with no real, easy rear raise only answer. Will the outback wg/sedan rear struts swap out in place of my stockers and give it a nice raise(I would like to see some pictures) I havn't seen any pictures beside 1 thread but can't seam to find it now.

Talking about the 3/8 or 1/2 $20 spacers? I havnt seen any pictures of 00+ legacys with them to show how much they would change but seams like a small amount will raise the rear up. 1/2 isn't much plus I have to go through the hassel of changing studs too. 1" is more what am after...

Install outback/sus struts and springs. You could also simply have very worn rear suspension due to excessive weight having been hauled in the vehicle.

thought I might of since it does have 130k miles and not sure if they ever been changed but they are firm with no bouncy or leaks.

I have discovered that the bounce test isn't a good inidcator. The only way to really be sure is to disassemble and see if the strut extends fully. 9/10 times after 80k it wont.

Just a little FYI, the fenders are lower in the back. To actually know if you have sag I would measure from the bottom of the car under the doors. Front behind tire, rear before tire. Sometimes the saggy butt really is the problem, but these cars APPEAR to look lower in the back because of how the fenders are shaped.

I will measure and see... I know I herd the car is actually level but it's the fender wells that give it the reversed raked look or saggy butt. I just want to get rid of the saggy look and make it more raked if anything.
