I have had my car for almost three years now. I've been a member on here for a while and never post. So, I figured it was about time that I made a member journal and connected with other Legacy enthusiasts. I bought the car with in the beginning '07 with a whopping 10k miles on it and it's treated me very well so far. I don't plan on getting rid of this car for a long time, I love it!

Mods are minimal, but here goes.

17" Gramlight 57C's with Response Edge's
Whiteline springs in the front
Legacy STi pinks in the rear
20mm Whiteline Rear Swaybar
KYB GR-2 Shocks and struts

As of right now, the car is sitting on the snowflakes and snow tires.
Thanks for looking!

Welcome! I love the mods!
Thank you! This is probably as far as I'll go with the car. I intend on auto-xing in the spring too. Can't wait!

I should quote you because once the autox bug hits, you'll wish you never said "that's as far as I'm going". ;)

nice, I have always loved white on silver.

If you cleared your headlights it would set it off real nice!

Eh, I'm not big on the cleared lights. Too 'euro' for me...I got away from them for a reason.

Oh and I'm more than likely powdercoating the wheels over the winter. They're beat to hell from the previous owner and need some TLC.

Poop. $5k in damages and 3 out of 4 wheels ruined. Some idiot in my parent's neighborhood hit my car while it was parked, leagally, out front of their house. Not a very nice thing to come home to. :-(

So now I'm on a quest for new wheels. I was thinking O.Z. Ultraleggera's. Any other suggestions?

How bad are the rims? Structeral damage or just paint? Suck to have you baby hurt huh?

The car bounced off of the curb. The wheel you see above, which took most of the impact, and the passenger rear are bad. I believe the passenger rear is cracked. The driver rear appears to be bent at the hub.

The dude hit my car so hard he ripped his passenger-side wheel clean off. Sorry if I sound like a negative Nancy, but I seriously doubt the guy would have stuck around if it wasn't for that.

That's so lame. I've lost count how many times my car has been hit by stupid random things when it's parked on the street. There are so many dents, but nothing this big. This sucks.

Well, good news is that the car will be fixed by the end of the week.

Bad news is that we have to pay the deductable and what-not because even though we have a police report with him admitting fault, it means nothing.

When all is said in done, we'll be taking douche bag to civil court. Awesome.

My car is about done, but I need to order wheels today. I'm stuck between RPF1's and Ultraleggeras. What do you guys think?

I wouldnt complain too much. Least someone didnt do damage to your car, and then not pay for it. The deductible is NOTHING compared to what it would have cost you to repair that out of pocket. You got lucky in my opinion.

+1 on OZ.

The O.Z.'s have been ordered and will be here this afternoon.

Honestly, the reason I'm so bitter is because the man who hit my car is being a HUGE dick. He called my boyfriend harassing him, yelling at him because we filed a claim. We have the police report with him admitting fault, but his insurance company said that is not good enough, even though they told us that the report is all we would need to prove he was at fault.

And I wouldn't have paid out of pocket...that's why I pay insurance every month.

Wait wait wait wait wait......dude that hit your car is bitching about you filing a claim against him? That's really logical, he's an idiot. And I guess according to his insurance company, you're car shouldn't have been parked where it was either. I really hate people sometimes...

file a claim with insurance commissioner in your state against that company this way they at least be harassed by the government.

Great choice on the rims, much better style than the rpf1's in my opinion. Did they repaint the entire car, looks amazing...

I prefer the rpf1's for the weight and stiffness, but those OZ's are definitely better than the old 57's you had IMO.

Old pics with while wheels = cool
New pic snuck from shop with OZs installed = EPIC WIN

Can we say, "fits like a glove"?

So...I got the car back on Tuesday night and as of last night, she's back at the shop.

When they looked over the car, they totally "missed" that there was suspension damage. My boyfriend is a mechanic and they just assumed that he would align it himself, although they were paid for it, and when I got the car back the wheel was still cocked. He took it to work yesterday and saw the damage while it was in the air. Insurance company told us to take it back.

Hopefully, whatever work that needs to be done will be finished quickly because I have an appointment on Tuedsay to have 2 windows re-tinted. Yeah...they fucked up my tint when they replaced the doors.

Ugh...I'm so over this.

P.s. The ultraleggeras are 1/2" wider than the 57c's...that's why they look so good!

Looks slick. Is your sunroof recessed or open?

Snoozie

It looks weird, right? The sunroof was definitely closed and is not recessed. I guess it was just the reflection of the sky making it look funny.
