with modification, you'll more than likely have to drill into the trunk, it wont bolt right up

i think he is asking if a V7 wing will fit on a legacy. and i would relly like to see what that looks like. i have seen some older impreza's with a V7 wing and it does not look to much bigger then the v5 v6 wings. So i think it will fit but you will have to drill holes in your trunk.

just try it and if it doesn't fit make it fit. mods stand for modifications... so do some...


as far as looks go, i'd take one if it was free, colour matched and installed :)

lol i drilled my trunk 6-7 times before i had the right fitting for my gt wing when i put it on my L. lucky for me they were all around each other. but still. if you're afraid to drill in to your car or do anything to it, then either man up and do it or stop thinking about it.

I installed a Zero sports replica wing on my 97 LGT. The wing is meant to fit a classic impreza. It isn't a perfect fit, but I like it and I am pretty sure I have the only BD legacy with a zero sports wing on it.

Personally, I think those wings look way too big on the 2nd gen legacy. The BD has fairly understated styling cues. That wing is just over the top. I say stick with the stock wing, its more tasteful.

yeah, i think the second gen. leggy's wing is perfect, the STI wing is to big, and does not look acurate with the car, and i dont think it will work like functional, unless you are going more than 80 MPH daily lol, and you have an AWD, so thats a plus, IMO. i love my leggy's spoiler.

I wasn't to sure about it at first, but it has grown on me. As for the holes I also have holes where the little black pieces were behind the rear doors. I plan on getting a gtb limited front bumper and morettes then I can install my jdm mirrors and finish the body work it needs.
