drug home a 1997 Subaru outback limited today-READ BELOW FOR MORE INFO FOR POLL
picked it up in Tampa and drove it back to Orlando

well maintained mechanically
only problem is a CEL
P0325-knock sensor circuit malfunction
THE PO SAYS: "it came on after having some brake work done and has been on for a month, but i barely drive it anymore"
so the code went away on its own..go figure.

the outback runs and drives decently, the shifts are a bit to soft for my liking, trans fluid is a little dark.
motor runs like a top. other oddball issues, CD player doesnt work, AC blows cold, but only thru the dash dents, etc. leather interior in good shape. exterior 7/10 interior 8/10
the 97 legacy GT w/ blown HGs severely overheated.

the legacy has blown HGs but runs and drives, but eats coolant and has misfire codes occasionally a fairly low mileage trans in it, exterior is 9/10, interior is flawless.
everything works except CD player.
the "BIG" issue here is my wife really likes her GT so the motors will be swapped to get that running again and then...who knows.
