Well i've been reading some posts and people saying that losing 100lbs is equal to 10 hp. Well this is a lie. It is simple math. you take the wieght removed. Find what % of the total wieght that is and add the % to the hp. For example lets say you have a 2000lb car with 100hp. If you remove 200lbs. or 10% of the total wieght then you in theory gained 10% in hp or 10hp. For your average legacy 3000lbs. with 130 hp lets say you remove the spare tire/jack 50lbs maybe idn. thats a 1.67% loss of weight or 2hp. Just thought i would clear that up

Yeah, People just quote random numbers they heard from a friend of a friend. Numbers dont really mean much, its the equation that counts

I'm glad I'm not the only one that realizes this. Unfortunately, I doubt anyone would notice 2hp...
